About this tool

Reads the visible text in an image and gives it back as you would copy it, with line breaks where possible. It transcribes: it does not translate, fix or summarise. Unreadable words are marked, not guessed.

Limitations to keep in mind

  • Handwriting, blur and tiny text can be wrong or missing.
  • Reading order for complex layouts and tables may differ from the original.
  • Always compare with the image for anything important.
